We have the ability to provide quality Jewish education for our children with a choice of qualified tutors. Children are matched to the tutor most likely to bring the best to an experience that leads to growth and commitment to Torah. Parents are consulted in all regards of the child's education and preparation for Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

The cost of tutoring is paid for by the Torat Hayim Community as part of our mission as a Center of Jewish Learning. Those families who can afford to do so are asked to reflect their support of this service in their donations.

Location of these classes is determined between the parents and their tutor. This can therefore include home tutoring as an option, relieving parents of the typical "Mom's taxi nightmare."

Modern support teaching aids include internet support. We have access on our website to a no charge Torah and Haftorah Tutorial in which the student, young or old, selects their portion and then can access Transliterated, Study scroll or Temple scroll text accompanied by the site Cantor singing the text. The students themselves and in discussion with their tutor can upgrade their level of study at a self-paced quality process.

Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Bris etc. can all be organized for you through our shul.
